The appearance of a disease is swift as an arrow; its disappearance slow, like a thread.

What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is the insertion of very fine needles into specific points on the body for therapeutic purpose.
In Contemporary Acupuncture, insertion sites are used to induce physiological changes in the nervous system and the specific areas of the body that are supplied by each nerve. Acupuncture points are therefore chosen for their neuro-anatomical relevance, and mild electrical stimulation is sometimes used to achieve a greater response. Like massage therapy, acupuncture is an area of Complementary Medicine, and approaches dysfunction by promoting natural healing processes in the body.
For your safety, only single use disposable needles are used in my treatments.

Process of Acupuncture . . .
Initial treatments will typically last 1 Hour. This is to allow enough time to conduct a thorough assessment in order to investigate any existing pathologies, and to allow the therapist to determine the most suitable treatment for your specific condition. Please bring a comfortable pair of shorts and a tank top to your appointment.
Subsequent treatments will generally last a total of 45 Minutes. Needles may be left in from 15 - 30 minutes, depending on your treatment needs.
